Do you participate in a regular tournament in your neighborhood, town or city and you often fail to improve the results? Maybe this interests you. Increasing the performance of our soccer team (regardless of the modality), can sometimes be frustrating if, first of all, we do not set clear objectives, which the group as a whole assumes as its own and, of course, carries them out. Work, studies, family, time is ultimately the main wall that prevents our group from continuously monitoring our evolution, setting goals and trying to achieve them.
It is common to see teams that only meet on “official” with 안전놀이터match days, hang out as best they can and often return home with certain amounts of goals and dissatisfaction. Normally, they tend to be the most united and cohesive teams (not the best technically speaking and, sometimes, not even the ones in the best shape), the ones that usually take the top positions in the leaderboard.
1. Physical Session
The physical is not the main thing, but although the time factor sometimes prevents it, it is always good to keep up. A weekly session or two of running (alone or in a group), of about 20 minutes, will help us not to lose our rhythm and keep us active during the days before or after the game. And it is not about becoming a marathoner, it is about keeping our physique in the most optimal state possible to perform with guarantees. 2. Try to Impose a Style
It is not necessary to imitate the greats, you just need to know what you are playing and act accordingly. Sometimes indirect play is not the most fun, but betting together on something and seeing its results will be an enriching experience like no other.
Style is overrated if we often change and don’t trust it when we have a bad day. But it will become your best weapon if you use it consistently to win the match. Why? In tournaments and local leagues it is difficult to have true proof of what are the different styles that our rivals apply, what is more, often they will not apply any and will limit themselves to playing for no other purpose than to sweat, which is completely respectable when your aspirations are low.
3. The Hierarchy
It is true that there is always a heavy on duty with delusions of grandeur, but it never hurts to propose a “leader” or spokesperson who knows how to counter rival strategies and lead the group towards the best solution in the middle of “the battle”.
Propose that leader together and support him in his mistakes and successes. It is probably as important (or more) to propose a leader who represents the group than physical appearance. When a style of play has not been established and consequently we do not have someone to lead the “orchestra”, we tend to chaos. It is something innate to the human being, we tend to believe in our own solution helping us from our partners in individual battles that little or nothing help the group.
It is true that many of these things we cannot avoid even having someone as a leader, but if we have that figure at our side and we manage to respect their work, we will have someone who channels the tactical needs of the team and knows how to tackle the most critical moments of the game with clarity.
Finish the game and think about what you have done and how you can improve it. It is always good to assume your own mistakes, discuss them with your teammates and try to correct them in the next meeting. Critical analysis is essential to tackle the weak points that we have detected on the pitch. In professional teams, this figure is sufficiently covered by both the coach and his team of technicians who, today and with the technologies at their disposal, are capable of producing true performance reports with a multitude of data. All that work can be reduced to a simple post-match conversation.
First of all, we will have to do an internal examination of an individual nature, listen to what our colleagues may think about how we have faced the various situations of the party in our demarcation. Then analyze the rest and speak frankly about what aspects can improve or where they have been successful so that they enhance them and do not lower their guard. Finally, and together, study the possibilities of progressing this time as a team.
Trusting the one next to you is as good as or more than feeling it in yourself. Not because they are obvious they are no longer necessary, keep them in mind when everything seems to get too complicated. You may never win the Champions League, but if you put your mind to it, you will – at least – go home with a smile and great feelings of satisfaction.
